Opening Day Parade & Events

2019 T-Ball Parade

We will be having our annual T-ball Parade to start off the new season at Central Park on May 11th. The T-ball parade will begin at 11am. T-ball teams are welcome to bring team signs and/or pennants to carry.

Teams can meet up at Field 7 ahead of the parade, which is where the parade will start. Teams will continue around and past Field 8, march towards the concession stand and finish on field 5.

There will also be at least one celebrity appearance - Scooch, from the Syracuse Mets, will be on hand and available for memorable photo ops.

Teams can then group together on field 5, which is where announcements will be made, the national anthem will be sung by a talented local singer, and the season will officially be started.

Team Photos

Team photo day is May 11th. Time slots for each team are posted on the CLL website under the 'parents' tab. Coaches will have order forms to hand out ahead of photo day, and they will also be available on photo day. All players are encouraged to be in their team photo, even if they are not purchasing individual photos.

Uniforms

We had a slight delay in getting all uniforms out. We extended registration this year, which added to the production time. We expect to have them Monday so we can distribute them to coaches ahead of team photo day.

Volunteers

We continue to reach out with our requests for parents to volunteer. The board, and league as a whole, is woefully short-staffed. Volunteering helps coaches coach and it helps board members do the things they need to do to make things run smoothly. Helping can be as simple as sorting uniforms or flyers, raking a field ahead of your child's game and filling in at the concession stand. To volunteer, just login to your CLL account and sign up.
