20th Annual Northstars Baseball Camp
Session 1 (Grades K – 6)(Grades 7-10)

(Sponsored by the Town of Clay Recreation Department)

Directed by: Kevin Rockwell -Varsity Baseball Coach & The Northstars Baseball Coaching Staff

The Northstar baseball camp is designed to provide young student athletes with an opportunity to develop and enhance their baseball skills in a fun-filled environment. An experienced and enthusiastic coaching staff will teach all the fundamental skills that are necessary for one to develop into a better baseball player. A trainer will be on staff to accommodate injuries if they occur and COVID-19 guidelines will be put in place with social distancing and sanitizing procedures followed. Game playing is also an important part of the camp, as it will allow the individual to put into play the skills they have developed throughout the week. All players will be given equal playing time and it is very important that all participants experience success while at the same time develop a love for the game of baseball. Notice: We have moved the camp to 3 days this year due to COVID-19 guidelines. We will be using Thursday and Friday for rain days if needed due to the fact that we cannot social distance the participants in the dugouts or inside if we run into inclement weather.

When: Monday, July 13th, 2020 – Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 (Thursday & Friday will be used as rain dates if needed)

Time: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Ages: Grades (Entering K – 6) the K-6 age group will be organized on the smaller fields, 60 ft. diamonds! The 7th – 10th grade group will be training on the 90 ft. diamond.

Where: Clay Park North – Fields are behind the Town of Clay Highway Department. 4483 NY - 31, Clay NY 13041

Cost: $90.00 (Note: If you are registering more than one child from the same family the cost will be $70.00 for the 2nd child.) Please pay in full and indicate this on the registration form!

Please note – We are only offering one week this summer!! The Northstars baseball summer camp will have limited enrollment and will fill up fast. All groups and stations will be age appropriate. We like to break the age groups by K - 2, 3 – 4, 5 – 6. The 7th – 10th grade age group will work together on the 90 ft field.
